Dzisiaj 45 lat kończy aktywny astronauta ESA - 11 Niemiec w kosmosie - Alexander Gerst.

Odbył jak dotąd 2 misje w kosmos: w 2014 (Sojuz TMA-13M) i w 2018 (Sojuz MS-09), dobrze pamiętacie ten statek co w nim astronauci na orbicie dziurkę przewiercili. Gerst był wówczas dowódcą załogi nr 57 na pokładzie ISS.

Jako, że 04.05. urodziła się i kończy dziś 66 lat - była astronautka nielot z Niemiec - Renate Luise Brümmer. Była ona dublerką PS w czasie niemieckiej misji naukowej D2 w 1993 - STS-55 Columbia/F-14 i uczestniczyła z Ziemi z wsparciem pracujących na orbicie współrodaków.

Less than 2 hours to ignition. Still looking good. Cloud deck is closed but that’s actually not a problem for the Falcon9 launcher.
After docking to the @Space_Station, @astro_marcus will meet his @esa colleague @Astro_Andreas who is currently the Commander of ISS Expedition 70. Andy launched from right this place on August 26 last year and is in space since then. GO #MUNINN & #HUGINN !
