Z całym szacunkiem dla ś.p. Pana O Leary. Ale skoro nie poleciał w kosmos to jakie prawo mamy by go uważać za astronautę? Inna sprawa to napisać - kandydat na astronautę, lub niedoszły astronauta.

O'Leary once stated that it was "remotely" possible some footage from the Apollo moon missions could have been created in a studio environment to avoid embarrassment on NASA's part. This started a controversy over O' Leary's beliefs whether the moon landings were real or not. In March 2001, O'Leary appeared briefly in Fox TV's "Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon," stating that "I can't say for sure 100%, whether these men walked on the moon. It is possible that NASA could have covered it up, just in order to cut corners, and to be the first to allegedly go to the moon." This has been a question of many hoax advocates for years but O' Leary remained quiet about the Moon program saying that he had "no interest" in rejoining the debate.

Kiedyś oglądałem ten film i faktycznie wypowiadał się na nim jakiś ex-astronauta, który nigdy jednak w kosmosie nie był.

Ponoć te poglądy O'Leary'ego nastąpiły po jakimś wypadku czy wydarzeniu, w którym się otarł o śmierć. To było chyba w latach 70.

W l. 1970-1971 był zastępcą kierownika grupy ds. systemów telewizyjnych sondy Mariner 10.

23.04.1968 opuścił oddział astronautów..
Według niektórych raportów nie był w stanie ukończyć szkolenia lotniczego i dlatego został poproszony o opuszczenie oddziału.

W l. 1975-1976 był specjalnym konsultantem Podkomisji ds. Energii i Środowiska Izby Reprezentantów USA.
Był doradcą ds. nauki i polityki energetycznej czterech kandydatów na prezydenta USA.

Profesor Brian Todd O'Leary zmarł 28.07.2011 w Ekwadorze, gdzie od 2003 roku mieszkał.
Ciało poddano kremacji, a prochy rozrzucono w pobliżu domu w prowincji Vilcamba w Ekwadorze.

It all started when he had a mystical experience at a Lifesrping event back in the 70s. It was when astrophysicist turned into metaphysician. He found he was able to read the mind of another person, and another person read his as well. I first met Brian O'Leary at Lifespring in Philadelphia in 1978. Lifesrping is one of those transformative weekend events filled with processes to move you into another dimension of consciousness. It's similar to the stuff Werner Erhard developed with est and The Forum. It's also much like the Insight Training program offered by the Movement for Spiritual Inner Awareness.

At the time, I too was on my way to self-realization. It was no surprise, when I met Brian again after my return from India in 1981, to see him devoting 100% of his efforts to the transformation of human consciousness. In 1990, Brian wrote several "Beyond Science" columns for New Frontier Magazine

The author of three books on our connection to UFOs, and other realms of existence and consciousness, Brian O'Leary was trained as an astronaut by NASA to be on the Mars Mission, and now lectures world-wide on the new science.
