A newly-discovered asteroid designated 2021 AA flew past Earth at a distance of 0.62 LD / 0.00159 AU (237 860 km / 147 800 miles) from the center of our planet at 13:16 UTC on January 1, 2021.

This is the first known asteroid to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance since the start of the year.

In 2020, we had 107 such flybys, up from 77 in 2019, 76 in 2018, 55 in 2017, and 53 in 2016.

Asteroid 2021 AA was first observed at Mt. Lemmon Survey, Arizona on January 2, one day after it made its close approach to Earth.

It belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 11 and 24 m (36 - 79 feet).

A newly-discovered asteroid designated 2021 AH flew past Earth at a distance of 0.13 LD / 0.00033 AU (49 367 km / 30 675 miles) from the center of our planet at 23:37 UTC on January 3, 2021.

This is the second known asteroid to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance since the start of the year. In 2020, we had 107 such flybys, up from 77 in 2019, 76 in 2018, 55 in 2017, and 53 in 2016.

The object was first observed at Catalina Sky Survey, Arizona several hours before its close approach to our planet.

2021 AH belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 5.4 - 12 m (18 - 40 feet).

A newly-discovered asteroid designated 2021 AS2 will flyby Earth at a distance of 0.28 LD / 0.00072 AU (107 710 km / 66 900 miles) at 09:39 UTC on January 9, 2020.

This is the 3rd known asteroid to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance since the start of the year. In 2020, we had 107 such flybys, up from 77 in 2019, 76 in 2018, 55 in 2017, and 53 in 2016.

2021 AS2 was first observed at Mt. Lemmon Survey, Arizona on January 8, one day before the object's close approach.

The object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 3.3 and 7.5 m (10.8 - 24.6 feet).

It will fly past us at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 24.5 km/s.

Астероид 2021 AC4, обнаруженный 10 января 2021 года, относится к группе Аполлона. Один оборот вокруг Солнца он совершает за 811 земных дней или 2,22 земных года, максимально удаляясь от него на 366 миллионов километров и приближаясь на 143 миллиона километров.

Точный размер астероида неизвестен, но исходя из расчетов он составляет от 5 метров до 10 метров. Астероид 2021 AC4 не является потенциально опасным.

2021 CO was first observed at Catalina Sky Survey, Arizona on February 5, six days before its close approach.

The object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 24 and 53 m (79 - 174 feet).

This object was first observed at Pan-STARRS 1, Haleakala, Hawaii on February 10, three days before its close approach.

2021 CA6 belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 5.5 and 12 m (18 - 39 feet).

Chyba będę jednak tworzyć tabelę z przelotami w tym roku, dorzucając do każdego artykułu. Tak powinno być prościej.

I łatwiej rzucić okiem na całokształt  A wykryciowo rok zapowiada się po raz kolejny rekordowo.

Aktualizacje ostatnio nie są 100-procentowe:

Przeloty 2021 CC6, 2021 CS6 i 2021 CA6 to siedemnasty, osiemnasty i dziewiętnasty (wykryty) przelot małego obiektu w 2021 roku.

Jest to piętnasty (wykryty) bliski przelot planetoidy lub meteoroidu w 2021 roku.

Czyli mamy już w tym roku 19 odkryć BP, czyli statystycznie co 2,37 dnia następowało nowe wykrycie.
Na razie nie zauważyłem rozbieżności z pozostałymi dwoma źródłami na poziomie generaliów.

W 2020 przy 19. przelocie pojawiła się pierwsza rozbieżność. W artykule z dn. 19 marca marcowy przelot został potraktowany jako lutowy.

Tak więc przed rokiem czekaliśmy ponad miesiąc dłużej na odnotowanie 19. BP
i można dodać, że po roku, faktycznie 19 wykryty BP odbył się w lutym
