The second spaceship is progressing well: We’ve incorporated the learnings from the first build into the schedule forecast for our second spaceship, which we now expect will join the fleet in New Mexico in March.

Sales at the $750K price point were oversubscribed and we now have over 700 members within our Astronaut Community. We have retired this price point and plan to open a new tranche of Spaceflight Expeditions this fall at higher price points.

CFO Doug Ahrens: We’ve strengthened the balance sheet ahead of commercial service. $286M in cash, principal balance on 2027/28 notes reduced by $93M, and free cash flow improved 20% YoY. We are ready to launch the exciting growth phase of our business.

With our second spaceship entering service, we forecast 10+ spaceflights/month by end of Q2 2027. This will be an unprecedented achievement in human spaceflight. Quarterly positive cash flow within 2027 remains on track.

Each new spaceship costs ~$60M to produce and has the potential to generate over $1.4B in lifetime contribution margin. 500 flights per vehicle. 6 astronauts per flight. 80%+ contribution margin. The economics are spectacular.

Here’s our first ship getting its livery installed: one of the last steps before Integrated Vehicle Ground Testing. Exciting to see this ship getting ready for the next stage.

From design schematics to bench testing to install to POWER ON.
Avionics is the nervous system of a spaceship. Thousands of sensors. 12 miles of wiring. A constant stream of data, turned into information our pilots can trust.
Without it, the vehicle is a structure. With it, it's alive.

This is the first of many feather raises during ground testing, and the first is always pretty special.
Missed it or want a refresher? Rewatch We Build Spaceships, episode 6, to see how the feather works →
