NASA’s crawler-transporter 2 has supported many eras of spaceflight, traveling between its parksite, launch pads, and the Vehicle Assembly Building. Today, the crawler traveled its 2,500th mile!
🗺️ For reference, 2,500 miles is approximately the driving distance from the @NASAArtemis launch site, Launch Complex 39B at @NASAKennedy in Florida, to the base for Artemis recovery operations, Naval Base San Diego in California.

When did the space era start? Maybe the answer is 2020, not 1957! US and China are driving launch increases since 2020. What do you think?
