Też jestem zaskoczony wielkością tego próbnika. Szczerze mówiąc sądziłem, że jest nawet z 2 x mniejszy.

Jest zrobiony ze sporym zapasem i miejscami pustawy w środku. Również schemat lotu tez nie musiałby być tak skomplikowany (mógłby być taki, jak w Łunach), ale chodzi o testowanie technologii na przyszłość.

The China National Space Administration distributed the first batch of lunar samples from the Chang'e 5 robotic mission to scientists on Monday.

The samples, weighing about 17.5 grams, were divided into 21 lots and handed over at a ceremony at the National Astronomical Observatories in Beijing to scientists from 13 domestic research organizations working on 31 scientific projects. (...)

The space administration published the Regulations on the Management of Lunar Samples in January.

In April, it established a selection commission for the distribution and use of the samples, and then started to accept applications for the first batch of 44 processed samples.

Thirty-seven scientists from 23 research bodies associated with the ministries of education, industry and information technology, and natural resources, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp submitted 85 applications, said Pei Zhaoyu, deputy director of the administration's Lunar Exploration and Space Program Center and spokesman for the Chang'e 5 mission.

Experts heard applications at a meeting last month and then approved 31 that requested a total of 17.47 grams of samples, he said, adding that the administration will hold a second hearing in September for updated and new applications. (...)

After over four months of growth, the dropping ears of the 2,000 "space rice plants" at the space breeding research center of the South China Agricultural University in South China's Guangdong Province promise a fruitful harvest, as researchers bagged the seeds that are each 1 centimeter long into three large parcels, China Media Group reported on Sunday.

The best seeds will be bred in laboratories and later planted in fields, which are expected to offer new varieties of rice that would boost China's grain harvest and enhance the breeding industry's efficiency, said Guo Tao, deputy director at the research center, according to the China Media Group's report. A better fit to observations of WE0913A, he said, was the launch of China’s Chang’e-5 T1 spacecraft on a Long March 3C in October 2014. That spacecraft flew a free-return trajectory around the moon to test the ability of a sample return capsule to survive reentry and land on Earth. That stage flew close to the moon several days after launch on an orbit that matches what’s expected of a stage that launched a spacecraft on a translunar trajectory.

“In a sense, this remains ‘circumstantial’ evidence. But I would regard it as fairly convincing evidence,” Gray wrote. “So I am persuaded that the object about to hit the moon on 2022 Mar 4 at 12:25 UTC is actually the Chang’e 5-T1 rocket stage.”
