Było też fajne ujęcie pierwszego stopnia już po separacji. Chyba niezbyt często to pokazują...

Fajne są te baterie słoneczne dostarczane w rolkach. To może być naprawdę przyszłościowe rozwiązanie.
Podbój kosmosu jest zbyt poważną sprawą by zostawić go w rękach państwowych agencji.

Początek misji CRS-22

Grafika prezentująca sześć paneli iROSA / Credits – NASA

W tej misji do ISS dotrze pierwszy z serii nowych paneli słonecznych. Te panele noszą nazwę ISS Roll Out Solar Array (iROSA). Panele iROSA zbudowała amerykańska firma Deployable Space Systems (DSS, spółka zależna od koncernu Boeing), która w 2017 roku zademonstrowała na ISS technologię tych paneli (oraz ich mechanizmu rozkładania). SpaceX cargo ship launches on mission to upgrade space station electrical grid
June 3, 2021 Stephen Clark

Nine Merlin main engines propel a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket into the sky over the Kennedy Space Center on Thursday. Credit: Stephen Clark / Spaceflight Now

(...) Four years ago, SpaceX had only flown a reused rocket once. Now it’s flown 63 missions with reused first stages, more than half of the Falcon 9 rocket’s entire flight history. (...)

The Cargo Dragon, which splashes down off the coast of Florida at the end of each mission, can be used up to five times. That’s an improvement over the three-flight design of the first-generation Dragon cargo capsule. The new spacecraft can autonomously dock with the space station. Past Dragon cargo missions had to be captured by astronauts using the space station’s Canadian robot arm. (...)

The Dragon’s entire cargo load, including pressurized and unpressurized sections, adds up to 7,337 pounds (3,328 kilograms).

That makes it the heaviest supply shipment SpaceX has ever sent to the space station. Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus supply freighters, which are designed for one flight each, can accommodate slightly heavier and more voluminous cargo. (...)

SpaceX Launches CRS-22 Cargo Resupply to Space Station, Gears Up for SXM-8 Mission This Weekend
By Ben Evans, on June 3rd, 2021

For the first time in 2021, a never-before-used Falcon 9 booster core powers uphill, laden with a Cargo Dragon whose heat shield previously saw service to guard Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken during last year’s Demo-2 re-entry. Photo Credit: NASA/Tony Gray and Kevin O’Conne

(...) Unusually for a never-before-flown Falcon 9, no Static Fire Test of the nine Merlin 1D+ first-stage engines was conducted at the pad for this mission. At Wednesday’s pre-launch press conference, SpaceX Director of Dragon Mission Management Sarah Walker noted an emphasis to “test like you fly” and explained that all nine engines were tested individually and as part of the integrated first stage whilst at the 6.2-square-mile (16-square-kilometer) Rocket Development Facility in McGregor, Texas. (...)

Discounting a failed landing in February, it was the 16th successful drone-ship landing of the year. Next up for B1067 will be duty to lift Crew-3 astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn, Matthias Maurer and Kayla Barron to the ISS in October.
