Udana misja suborbitalna NS-18 BY KRZYSZTOF KANAWKA ON 14 PAŹDZIERNIKA 2021
Trzynastego października 2021 roku odbyła się misja suborbitalna NS-18 firmy Blue Origin. Na pokładzie znalazło się czworo pasażerów.
Do startu pojazdu New Shepard firmy Blue Origin doszło 13 października 2021 roku o godzinie 16:49 CEST. Lot nastąpił z około 50 minutowym opóźnieniem, z uwagi na przerwy w odliczaniu do startu. W tej misji, o oznaczeniu NS-18, wzięło udział czworo astronautów:
Audrey Powers, USA
Chris Boshuizen, Australia
Glen de Vries, USA
William Shatner, Kanada
W trakcie lotu osiągnięty został pułap ok 106 km. Zarówno kapsuła jak i rakieta nośna bez problemu wylądowały po zakończeniu misji. Lot NS-18 trwał 10 minut i 17 sekund. (...)

For the NS-18 mission, Shatner was joined by Audrey Powers, Blue Origin's vice president for mission and flight operations, and two paying passengers: Chris Boshuizen, co-founder of Planet Labs, the first company to commercially utilize nanosatellites, and Glen de Vries, vice chair of life sciences and healthcare for Dassault Systems and the co-founder of Medidata, the world's most used clinical research platform.
