340-dniowy pobyt Scotta Kellego i Michaiła Kornijenki w kosmosie przeszedł do historii.
Kosmonauci zostali przeniesieni do namiotu, gdzie przejdą wstępne badania medyczne.

Expedition 46 Commander Scott Kelly of NASA, and Mikhail Kornienko and Sergey Volkov of Roscosmos landed their Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft in Kazakhstan at 11:26 p.m. EST. Russian recovery teams will help the crew exit the Soyuz vehicle and adjust to gravity after their stay in space.

https://blogs.nasa.gov/spacestation/2016/03/01/veteran-station-crew-returns-to-earth-after-historic-mission/

“Scott Kelly’s one-year mission aboard the International Space Station has helped to advance deep space exploration and America’s Journey to Mars,” said NASA Administrator Charles Bolden. “Scott has become the first American astronaut to spend a year in space, and in so doing, helped us take one giant leap toward putting boots on Mars.”

During the record-setting One-Year mission, the station crew conducted almost 400 investigations to advance NASA’s mission and benefit all of humanity. Kelly and Kornienko specifically participated in a number of studies to inform NASA’s Journey to Mars, including research into how the human body adjusts to weightlessness, isolation, radiation and the stress of long-duration spaceflight. Kelly’s identical twin brother, former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, participated in parallel twin studies on Earth to help scientists compare the effects of space on the body and mind down to the cellular level.

Soyuz spacecraft that flew first Dane, first yearlong ISS crew on display in Denmark

May 11, 2018 – The Russian spacecraft that launched the first Dane into space and returned the first crew to spend a year aboard the International Space Station has landed on display in Denmark.

The Soyuz TMA-18M descent capsule debuted on exhibit at the Danmarks Tekniske Museum, or Danish Museum of Science & Technology, in Helsingør, Denmark on Tuesday (May 8 ). The gumdrop-shaped spaceship orbited Earth for nearly 182 days from Sep. 2, 2015 through March 2, 2016. (...)

Soyuz TMA-18M is the latest, and perhaps the last, of the flown Soyuz descent capsules to go on display outside of Russia. Danish media reports about the new exhibit said Roscosmos, Russia's federal space agency, has decided to cease offering its spent Soyuz to foreign countries and museums with the completion of the deal with Denmark.
