On Thursday, @SpaceX CRS-29 Cargo Dragon undocked and departed the space station. The spacecraft carried the results of several scientific experiments, as well as payloads and other hardware, back down to Earth. Less than 24 hours later, @northropgrumman Cygnus NG-19 cargo vehicle was separated from the ISS by the @csa_asc robotic arm. Although it has departed from the space station, Cygnus NG-19 will still spend the next couple weeks in orbit conducting additional experiments before it will be commanded to deorbit and burn up in the atmosphere.
Watching the robotic arm detach Cygnus and it fly away from station left me in awe of what humans are capable of. Not long ago, something like this existed only in our imaginations and in works of science fiction. To make it even more spectacular, the Richat Structure (Eye of the Sahara) appeared in the background.

Russia’s space state agency, Roscosmos, said has said that a cross-flight programme with Nasa to the International Space Station (ISS) had been extended until 2025, Interfax news agency reported.
The cross-flights were extended “in order to maintain the reliability of the ISS operation” and will be carried out on Russian and United States spacecraft, Roscosmos said.
Reuters, citing Interfax, said that the cross-flights involve sending one American astronaut to the ISS as part of the crew of a Russian spacecraft, and vice versa – one Russian cosmonaut as part of an American crew.
