09.10.2013 o 19:21 sonda Juno wykonała manewr grawitacyjny przelatując w pobliżu Ziemi (559 km, dV=7,6 km/s).
Nowa orbita heliocentryczna osiągnęła parametry: hp=0,98 AU, ha=5,44 AU, i=4,5°.
Po wyjściu z cienia Ziemi okazało się, że sonda weszła w stan "safe mode", jednak analiza telemetrii nie wykazała żadnych uszkodzeń.
