03.12. o 04:02:20 z Jiuquan wystrzelony został pierwszy egzemplarz RN Zhuque-3.
Ostatni stopień bez ładunku użytecznego osiągnął orbitę, a pierwszy miał wylądować w T+8' 30" w lokalizacji o współrzędnych 38,445ºN 103,481ºE.
Jednak, choć wstępny manewr hamowania powiódł się, to podczas zapłonu silników do manewru lądowania doszło do eksplozji jednego z nich i rakieta uległa destrukcji, a jej szczątki spadły na skraj strefy lądowania.

612. start RN z serii Długi Marsz.
Była to 79. chińska próba startu orbitalnego w 2025.
Był to 5. start CZ-8A od czasu debiutu 11.02.2025 (http://lk.astronautilus.pl/n250201.htm#11).
Wszystkie te starty wynosiły satelity internetu satelitarnego Hulianwang.

WENCHANG, Hainan, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- China launched a Long March-8A carrier rocket on Saturday in the southern island province of Hainan, sending a group of internet satellites into space.
The rocket lifted off at 3:53 p.m. from the Hainan commercial spacecraft launch site. It successfully placed the payloads, the 14th group of low-orbit internet satellites, into preset orbit.
Developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, the Long March-8A rocket is 50.5 meters long with a takeoff weight of 371 tonnes. It is capable of carrying up to 7 tonnes to a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 km.
The rocket completed its maiden flight in February this year and has since entered a high-density launch mode.
This mission marks the first time the Long March-8 series rocket has switched its primary propellant from conventional petroleum-based rocket kerosene to coal-based rocket kerosene.
The new fuel is environmentally friendly, easy to store and transport, and more cost-effective. Its performance remains stable and reliable as petroleum-based rocket kerosene, which can establish a "green power" foundation for subsequent high-frequency launch missions.
Saturday's mission is also the fifth flight of the Long March-8A rocket and the 612th launch of the Long March series of rockets. ■

SpaceX launches classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office
December 9, 2025 Will Robinson-Smith
(...) SpaceX launched its final national security payload of the year for the nation’s secretive spy satellite agency, the National Reconnaissance Office. The Tuesday afternoon flight was also the final Falcon 9 booster recovery at Landing Zone 2 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. (...)
The mission, dubbed National Reconnaissance Office Launch 77 (NROL-77), includes at least one payload, which the intelligence-gathering agency only described as being “designed, built, and operated by NRO.” (...)
SpaceX used Falcon 9 first stage booster B1096. This was its fourth launch after previously flying NASA’s IMAP, Amazon’s Kuiper Falcon 01 and Starlink 6-87.
Nearly eight and a half minutes after liftoff, B1096 returned to the Florida Peninsula with a touchdown at Landing Zone 2 (LZ-2). This was the 16th touchdown at LZ-2 and the 547th booster landing to date for SpaceX. (...)
The NROL-77 mission is the second NRO mission launched by SpaceX as part of the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Phase 2 contract awarded in August 2020. The contract was broken up to assign missions between SpaceX and United Launch Alliance (ULA) over five order years for specific missions.
This is the first mission that comes from Order Year 5 that was announced on Oct. 31, 2023. It was one of ten missions assigned to SpaceX that year, which has a combined value of $1.236 billion. (...)
Among the ten NRO missions launched in 2025, nine of them flew on Falcon 9 rockets:
Jan. 09 – NROL-153
Jan. 14 – Transporter-12 (rideshare payload)
Mar. 14 – Transporter-13 (rideshare payload)
Mar. 20 – NROL-57
Mar. 24 – NROL-69
Apr. 12 – NROL-192
Apr. 16 – NROL-174 (launched on Minotaur 4 rocket)
Apr. 20 – NROL-145
Sep. 22 – NROL-48
Dec. 09 – NROL-77
End of an era
The planned landing of B1096 at LZ-2 may very well wrap up SpaceX’s time using this site as a landing location for its Falcon boosters.
In an effort to increase access to launch providers at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Space Launch Delta 45 decided all launch providers need to return their rocket boosters to landing sites at their launch pads.
SpaceX has been taking the necessary steps to shift its recovery infrastructure away from LZ-1 and LZ-2. The company’s lease for these sites ends on Dec. 31, 2025.
SpaceX received the environmental approvals needed to move forward with a landing pad near (SLC-40) and has been making constructing that facility over the course of 2025.
The company is also looking to add a landing pad at Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX needs two landing zones in order to recover the side boosters of a Falcon Heavy rocket.

-
Wcześniej występowały już przedstartowe problemy.
Problem z IMU w drugim stopniu RN H3-22S został szybko zidentyfikowany i naprawiony.

20.12.2025:

Dec 22, 2025:
Pierwszy stopień miał 2 silniki rakietowe LE-9, 2 stopnie pomocnicze SRB-3 i krótką osłonę aerodynamiczną.
Japonia planowała wystrzelić satelitę QZS-7 w przyszłym roku, zwiększając liczbę działających satelitów do siedmiu.

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System “Michibiki No. 5” from the Tanegashima Space Center using the H-3 Rocket No. 8 at 10:51:30 (Japan Standard Time, 24-hour notation) from the Tanegashima Space Center to launch the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System “MICHIBIKI No. 5” using the H3 Rocket No. 8. However, the second stage engine failed to ignite properly during its second burn and shut down prematurely. Consequently, the “MICHIBIKI No. 5” satellite could not be placed into its intended orbit, resulting in a launch failure.
We deeply apologize to everyone involved with the “Michibiki-5” satellite, to the local community and all supporters, and to the public for failing to meet your expectations.
A countermeasures headquarters, headed by Chairman Yamakawa, has been established and is investigating the cause.
We will provide updates on the situation as they become available.

The rocket’s second-stage engine burn unexpectedly had a premature cutoff and a subsequent separation of the satellite from the rocket could not be confirmed, Masashi Okada, a JAXA executive and launch director, told a news conference.
Whether the satellite was released into space or where it ended up is unknown, and that JAXA is investigating the data to determine the cause and other details, Okada said.

Japan's aerospace agency reports likely cause of H3 rocket launch failure
Apr 14, 2026
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, or JAXA, has identified a likely cause of the H3 rocket launch failure in December. The agency concluded that it is highly likely a problem occurred with the payload support structure at the top of the rocket.
The eighth H3 rocket lifted off from a launch site in southwestern Japan last year, carrying a satellite.
The mission failed as the satellite could not be put into its planned orbit.
JAXA reported findings from its investigation to a government panel of experts on Monday.
It says adhesive sites in components of the payload support structure peeled off, creating gaps between the components.
JAXA believes temperatures in some parts of the component rose higher than expected during the bonding process, weakening the adhesive strength and creating gaps.
The agency says the gaps rapidly expanded when an impact occurred during separation of the satellite fairing, destroying the support structure.
It says it will review the bonding method for the base and adopt the approach used for the H2A rocket in manufacturing future H3 rockets.
Meanwhile, JAXA plans to resume launches with a new test configuration without booster rockets, using a payload support structure with the same bonding method as the failed eighth H3 rocket, with improvements made to address the issue.
It will collect data on loads and impacts on the structure during the test launch. It aims to verify the cause of the failure using the data.

JIUQUAN, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- China on Wednesday launched a Lijian-1, also known as Kinetica-1 Y11, carrier rocket with 9 satellites, including one from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), onboard.
The rocket blasted off at 12:03 p.m. (Beijing Time) from the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. It successfully sent the satellites into their planned orbits.
The UAE-led satellite, named 813, is designed for observing soil, the climate and the environment.
SATELLITE FOR GRID
The launch deployed China's first remote-sensing satellite in the power industry, coded Jixing High-Resolution 07D01.
With a spatial resolution better than 0.5 meters, this satellite enables precise monitoring of the structural conditions of power grid equipment, such as transmission lines and pylons.
The satellite can perform continuous east-west strip observations, covering over 200 kilometers of transmission corridor in a single pass, according to the State Grid Electric Power Engineering Research Institute, one of its designers.
Compared to current satellite systems, this new satellite is expected to enhance surveying precision for transmission projects and line inspections by more than fivefold.
The satellite supports diverse applications, from managing ultra-high voltage (UHV) projects and assessing environmental impacts in transmission networks, to inspecting critical power corridors, issuing disaster warnings and evaluating post-disaster damage.
Also among the launch payload were two remote-sensing satellites dedicated to water resource monitoring, urban management, and digital transformation of a district in Hefei, capital city of east China's Anhui Province. ■

SpaceX breaks launch pad turnaround record with flight of Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral
December 11, 2025 Will Robinson-Smith
(...) The liftoff broke the pad turnaround record for SpaceX, following close on the heels of the NROL-77 mission, two days, two hours, 44 minutes and 55 seconds earlier. The previous record of two days seven hour 29 minutes and 10 seconds was set back in October.
The mission, Starlink 6-90, was the company’s 161st orbital launch of the year and its 118th flight in 2025 carrying Starlink satellites. It was also the 170th orbital flight for the company in the last 365 days.
SpaceX used the Falcon 9 first stage B1083 for the mission. It was the booster’s 16th flight following launches of missions like IM-2, Polaris Dawn and Crew-8.
About 8.5 minutes after liftoff, B1083 landed on the drone ship, ‘Just Read the Instructions’ positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. It was the 137th landing on this vessel and the 549th booster landing for SpaceX to date.

Trzechsetny start!
16.12. o 03:17 z Taiyuan wystrzelona została RN CZ-4B. Wyniosła ona na orbitę satelitę Ziyuan-3 04.
Po raz pierwszy w historii w ciągu jednego roku wykonano trzysta udanych startów orbitalnych.

Fengyun-4C (Feng-yün) został wyniesiony na GTO.
Jest trzecim satelitą drugiej generacji chińskich satelitów geostacjonarnych.
Prawdopodobnie będzie on zawieszony powyżej 133° E.
W porównaniu z satelitą Fengyun-4B, platforma satelitarna SAST-5000 została ulepszona i wyposażona w nowe silniki jonowe.
Spośród sześciu instrumentów pokładowych, cztery są przeznaczone do obserwacji Ziemi, a dwa do obserwacji Słońca.
Trzy z nich są zmodernizowane, a trzy nowo opracowane.
Wielokanałowy radiometr obrazowy osiąga dwukrotnie lepszą rozdzielczość przestrzenną, a obserwacja całej powierzchni Ziemi została skrócona z 15 do 10 minut.
Poprawiono również parametry urządzenia do pomiaru pionowego profilu atmosfery.
Zmodernizowano również detektor wyładowań atmosferycznych.
Obejmuje on teraz cały dysk Ziemi.

China shares first Fengyun-4C satellite observation images
Source: Xinhua Editor: huaxia 2026-03-21 21:43:45
BEIJING, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The China Meteorological Administration on Saturday released the first set of observation images from the Fengyun-4C satellite, demonstrating the country's independently controllable capability in terms of real-time monitoring from the sun to Earth.
According to an official from the administration, the six instruments aboard Fengyun-4C all perform at internationally advanced levels.
The first batch of images highlights Fengyun-4C's comprehensive capabilities across weather monitoring, atmospheric sounding, lightning detection, ionospheric observation and solar activity tracking, laying a solid foundation for improved meteorological forecasting and space weather early warning provision.
Launched on December 27 last year from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan, Fengyun-4C is currently the world's most capable geostationary meteorological satellite when it comes to comprehensive single-satellite detection capabilities.
It can significantly enhance the monitoring of meso- and small-scale weather systems and early warning capabilities regarding such systems, as well as the monitoring of space weather sources, thus strengthening its role as the first line of defense in meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation. ■

XICHANG, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- China on Sunday sent a new satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in its southwestern Sichuan Province.
The Gaofen-14 02 satellite was launched at 11:55 a.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-3B carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit successfully.
This satellite is capable of efficiently acquiring high-precision stereo imagery on a global scale, providing fundamental geographic information support for national economic development and national defense construction.
The launch marked the 603rd flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series. ■

This is a spent Chinese Long March 3B rocket body, imaged by a Vantor WorldView Legion satellite from 88 km away.
The image quality is not simply about range. It reflects the strength of Vantor’s advanced WorldView constellation and high-performance imaging hardware, which enable detailed observation of objects in orbit.
It’s a powerful example of Vantor’s NEI tasking through our WorldView Space product line: using high-resolution satellites to look out into space and capture detailed imagery of objects in orbit.
Why does that matter? Most tracking systems can show where an object is. WorldView Space NEI helps show what it is, its structure, orientation, condition, and potential risk. It can also support Movement Analysis, helping operators understand whether an object is intact, tumbling, spinning, or otherwise changing behavior over time.
That level of detail is especially important for large rocket bodies like this one. They are big, long-lived debris objects that share orbits with critical infrastructure, including communications, Earth observation, weather, science, and national security satellites. A single collision involving an intact rocket stage can create thousands of new fragments, increasing risk across already crowded orbital regions.
As launch activity accelerates, we need to understand not just where objects are in space, but what they are, how they are moving, and how they may behave over time.

The WorldView Legion satellite from @Vantor captured an image of the third stage of the CZ-3B carrier rocket in mid-April. On October 26, 2025, it delivered the Gaofen 14-02 (Kao-fen) satellite to a sun-synchronous orbit. The image was taken from a distance of 88 km, and the resolution of the original image is 5.7 cm.
