On Sunday, March 8 at 7:00 a.m. PT, Falcon 9 launched 25 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

This was the seventh flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Sentinel-6B, Twilight, and now five Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which was stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

This marks the 29th Falcon 9 launch and 24th Starlink mission for the year. With mission success SpaceX will have deployed 649 satellites so far in 2026 —  20.4% of the 3,180 deployed in 2025.

A little more than eight minutes after liftoff, B1097 landed on the drone ship, ‘Of Course I Still Love You,’ positioned in the Pacific Ocean. This was the 182nd landing for this vessel and the 582nd booster landing to date for SpaceX.
