When Dr. Sian Proctor launched into orbit aboard SpaceX’s Inspiration4 mission in 2021, she became the first woman commercial astronaut to pilot a spacecraft. But more than that, she became a living symbol of a future where space belongs to all of us. As an artist, geoscientist, poet, and commercial astronaut, Dr. Proctor didn’t just break barriers — she painted new possibilities into the sky.
