3:04 PM · Jun 6, 2024My great-uncle Guy Payette enlisted in 1943 with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion. He parachuted behind German lines on June 5, 1944, and fought until the surrender. He died at sea on the return boat in 1945. Lest we forget 🌺 #dday @CanadianForces
