Immensely grateful to @NASA for the opportunity to serve and contribute. While I’ll miss the tech, the hardware, and the missions, it’s the people I’ll miss most. Our greatest asset will always be each other, led with empathy and care.
I’m spending my final year in the Navy with Training Air Wing 2, giving back by teaching and mentoring the next generation of naval aviators before taking on the next chapter, bringing all my energy to solving hard problems, building with hardcore teams, and driving positive impact.

2) Wcześniej Cargo Dragon Spx-33 przeprowadził testy swoich możliwości w zakresie podnoszenia orbity stacji.
W ramach przygotowań do tego manewru panele słoneczne na stacji musiały zostać ustawione w bezpiecznej pozycji. Nagranie poklatkowe (time-lapse) pokazujące, jak panele automatycznie śledzą położenie Słońca, a następnie zmieniają ustawienie na bezpieczne.
Panele słoneczne mogą obracać się wokół dwóch różnych osi: jednej sterowanej przez mechanizm SARJ (Solar Alpha Rotary Joint), a drugiej przez układ BGA (Beta Gimbal Assembly).
Pozwala to na precyzyjne dostosowanie położenia paneli w celu optymalizacji procesu przetwarzania światła słonecznego na energię elektryczną.

Earlier in this mission, Spx-33 did a checkout of its reboost capability. In preparation for that maneuver, the solar arrays on the @Space_Station had to park in a safe position. Here’s a time lapse demonstrating the solar arrays autotracking the position of the sun then feathering to a safe position.

Notice in this sped-up video how the solar arrays can rotate about two different axes, one controlled by the SARJ (solar alpha rotary joint) and the other by the BGA (beta gimbal assembly). This allows fine tuning the position of the arrays to optimize sunlight conversion to electricity.

In space, we’re weightless, but not massless. So how do we measure our mass? There are a few ways to do it, but they all come down to Newton’s Second Law: F = ma. Apply a known force, measure the resulting acceleration, and you can calculate mass from the relationship between the two.

In advance of the NG-23 cygnus capture with the Canadarm, Houston gave our crew onboard an opportunity to practice moving the arm and capturing a simulated grapple fixture (i.e. target). This is a timelapse over 2 hours capturing Houston maneuvering the Canadarm for this practice.

Urządzenie to pozwala na regulację temperatury i wilgotności, a także zapewnia środowisko o obniżonym ciśnieniu (podciśnieniu), co umożliwia pracę z materiałami niebezpiecznymi.
Do niedawnych eksperymentów przeprowadzonych w LSG należą badania nad reakcją komórek kostnych na różne warunki w mikrograwitacji oraz próby ustalenia, czy krystalizacja białek w kosmosie – przebiegająca w sposób bardziej precyzyjny – może prowadzić do opracowania skuteczniejszych leków.

There is a science lab onboard the @Space_Station called the Life Sciences Glovebox. It’s one of the places we conduct biological and life science experiments in a controlled environment. It can control temperature, humidity, and even has a negative pressure environment so we can work with hazardous materials.

Recent experiments in the LSG include a study to determine how bone cells can respond to various conditions in microgravity and determining if higher fidelity protein crystallization in space can yield more effective drugs. Here’s a short video describing what it is and how we deploy it.

13.11.2025 miało miejsce zjawisko związane z udziałem cząstek słonecznych (solar particle event SPE), które zaowocowało przepięknymi połaciami zorzy polarnej.
załoga wykonała łącznie tysiące zdjęć oraz dziesiątki nagrań poklatkowych (time-lapse).

Wskaźnik Kp określa siłę burzy geomagnetycznej; osiągnął on wartość 8,5 (maksimum to 9, patrz zrzut ekranu).
Nigdy wcześniej astronauta nie widział tak wysokiego wskaźnika.
Wszyscy byliśmy podekscytowani, choć NASA wyrażała zaniepokojenie dodatkową dawką promieniowania, na jaką mogli być narażeni astronauci.
Znaczna część stacji kosmicznej stanowi ochronę przed nadmiernym promieniowaniem.

On Nov 13th, there was a solar particle event that resulted in beautiful blankets of aurora. You may have seen it. We had the most amazing view and our crew collectively took thousands of photos and dozens of time lapses. Here is one of those time lapses. Nov 13th. Nikon Z9 | 14mm.

The Kp index is a measure of the strength of a geomagnetic storm and it was 8.5 (max is 9, see screenshot). I had never seen it that high. Suffice to say we were all excited, though NASA was concerned of the additional radiation we would receive. Luckily much of the space station protects us from excessive radiation.
