Space Shuttle Discovery is the centerpiece of the James S. McDonnell Space Hangar at our Udvar-Hazy Center.
The workhorse of the Space Shuttle fleet, Discovery completed 39 missions, spent 365 days in space, orbited the Earth 5,830 times, and traveled over 148 million miles.
