Nowa załoga leci na ISS BY MICHAŁ MOROZ ON 17 GRUDNIA 2017
Załoga Sojuza MS-07. Od lewej Norishige Kanai, Anton Szkaplerow, Scott Tingle / RoskosmosW niedzielę rano z Bajkonuru ku wystartowała ISS kolejna załoga. Na pokładzie statku kosmicznego Sojuz MS-07 znajdowali się astronauci z Rosji, USA i Japonii.
Rakieta Sojuz-FG odpaliła silniki o godzinie 8:21 CET. Osiem minut i 45 sekund później statek kosmiczny Sojuz MS-07 znalazł się na orbicie o parametrach 198 km na 254 km i nachyleniu 51,66 stopni. Cumowanie do modułu Rasswiet Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej przewidziane jest na 19 grudnia. Do tego czasu Sojuz MS-07 za pomocą własnych silników będzie jeszcze podnosił swoją orbitę, aby dogonić ISS lecącą obecnie na średniej wysokości 405 km nad powierzchnią Ziemi. Wcześniej do stacji przycumowany zostanie jeszcze
wystrzelony 15 grudnia Dragon.
Na pokładzie Sojuza znajduje się trzech członków nowej, 54 stałej załogi Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej. Rosjanin Anton Szkaplerow brał już udział w dwóch wcześniejszych lotach do ISS w 2012 (załoga 29) i 2015 roku (załoga 42), podczas których spędził łącznie rok na orbicie. Dla Amerykanina Scotta Tingle oraz Japończyka Norishige Kanai jest to pierwszy lot w kosmos. Na pokładzie ISS spędzą najbliższe pięć i pół miesiąca. Powrót przewidziany w dniu 3 czerwca 2018.

lądowaniu kapsuły Sojuz MS-05 trzy dni temu z Randolphem Bresnikiem, Siergiejem Riazanskim oraz Paolo Nespolim na pokładzie ISS przebywa jeszcze załoga Sojuza MS-06. Są to Aleksandr Misurkin, Mark Vande Hei oraz Joseph Acaba. Pozostaną w przestrzeni kosmicznej do końca lutego przyszłego roku. W marcu zmienią ich Oleg Artiemjew, Andrew Feustel oraz Richard Arnold.

And then there’s New Year’s Eve. The holiday is typically celebrated at midnight local time around the world, but that’s a tall order in low-Earth orbit, where astronauts witness 16 sunrises and sunsets each day.
“We do not celebrate New Year’s 16 times,” Shkaplerov joked. “We start at about 10 o’clock in the morning, we pass the first spot where they celebrate New Year’s, somewhere over the Eastern Islands,” he said. “Then we have Nemo (Kanai) on our crew, we’re going to celebrate New Year’s on Japan time. Then in Russia, when we get to Europe, using Greenwich (Mean Time) … and then we wake up early in the morning and congratulate our crewmates from the United States.” (...)

(...) Norishige Kanai was born in December 1976 and holds a medical degree from the National Defense Medical College, which he earned in 2002.
An avid martial artist, scuba diver, and traveler, Kanai is a Lieutenant and Diving Medical Officer and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force – Medical Service Division, 1st Service School.
He is also a member of the Japan Surgical Society as well as the Japanese Society of Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine.
Kanai was commissioned from the National Defense Medical College in 2002, after which he worked in the Department of Surgery at the National Defense Medical College Hospital.
Following a two-year stint there, he took an assignment at the Japan Self-Defense Force Ohminato Hospital in Aomori, Japan. (...)

Two days after launch, Soyuz MS-07 docks at the Rassvet nadir port OTD in 2017. The crew of Anton Shkaplerov, Scott Tingle & Norishige Kanai begin their 166+days onboard ISS by joining the EO-54 crew as Flight Engineers until assuming the position of prime EO-55 crew in Feb 2018.
