SPACECRAFT SEPARATION!
T+plus 14 minutes, 52 seconds. The Boeing CST-100 Starliner spacecraft with astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams has separated successfully from the Atlas V rocket for the Crew Flight Test (CFT) to the International Space Station.
The names of Wilmore and Williams now join Glenn, Carpenter, Schirra and Cooper as American astronauts to launch into space atop Atlas rockets from Cape Canaveral.
