Soyuz 2.1a with #ProgressMS31 has been assembled today at Pad 31 of Baikonur cosmodrome. On the rocket you can see the emblem of the Apollo-Soyuz flight 50th Anniversary. Tomorrow morning it will be rolled out to the launch pad. The launch is scheduled for July 3, 19:32 UTC.

MOSCOW, July 1. /TASS/. The Progress MS-29 cargo spaceship has undocked from the Poisk module of the International Space Station’s (ISS) Russian segment, according to a Roscosmos broadcast.

The spaceship undocked at 9:43 p.m. Moscow time (6:43 p.m. GMT) and will stitch on its engines at 00:46 p.m. a.m. Moscow time on July 2 (9:46 p.m. GMT on July 1) to leave the ISS orbit and enter the Earth atmosphere. The larger part of it will be burnt in the dense atmosphere while non-combustible elements will fall down in a non-navigable area of the Pacific Ocean.

The Progress MS-29 resupply spaceship docked to the ISS on November 23, 2024. It delivered almost 2,500 kg of cargo, including material and equipment for experiments, to the orbital outpost on November 23, 2024. Also, it delivered 869 kg of refueling propellant, 420 liters of potable water, and 43 kg of pressurized nitrogen for the crew aboard the ISS. (...)

Rosyjska Agencja Kosmiczna, Roskosmos, zamierza w tym tygodniu uzupełnić zaopatrzenie Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej (ISS) misją transportową Progress. Start z platformy startowej 31/6 na kosmodromie Bajkonur w Kazachstanie zaplanowano na czwartek 3 lipca o 21:32 czasu polskiego (19:32 UTC), a Progress dostarczy około 2500 kg żywności, wody i sprzętu dla załogi na pokładzie stacji.

Rakieta Sojuz poleci trajektorią północno-wschodnią, umieszczając statek kosmiczny Progress MS-31 na trajektorii spotkania z ISS. Progress dokuje do modułu serwisowego Zvezda w sobotę 5 lipca około 23:27 czasu polskiego (21:27 UTC).

Start Progress MS-31 będzie oznaczał 184. lot statku transportowego Progress, szósty start rakiety Sojuz w 2025 r. i trzeci lot wariantu 2.1a w tym roku. Rosja przeprowadziła również dwa starty Angary w marcu i czerwcu, co daje łącznie osiem lotów w tym roku.

The Progress MS-31 resupply ship has delivered 2,625 kg of cargo to the orbital outpost, including 1,205 kg of apparatus and equipment, clothing, food, medical and hygienic sets for the crew, other dry cargo, 950 kg of refueling propellant for the space station, 420 liters of potable water for cosmonauts and 50 kg of nitrogen to replenish the ISS atmosphere, the State Space Corporation Roscosmos reported.

Jednym z najbardziej niezapomnianych wieczorów, jakie przeżyłem podczas tej misji, był wspólny posiłek z nowymi przyjaciółmi, Ax-4, na pokładzie Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej @Space_Station

One of the most unforgettable evenings I’ve experienced on this mission was sharing a meal with new friends, Ax-4, aboard the International @Space_Station.

We swapped stories and marveled at how people from diverse backgrounds and nations came together to represent humanity in space.

For appetizers, we made rehydrated shrimp cocktails and crackers. Our main course featured savory chicken and beef fajitas, and the cosmonauts capped the night with a delicious cake made from sweet bread, condensed milk, and walnuts.

Czy wiesz, że jedną z misji NASA jest umożliwienie komercyjnych lotów kosmicznych na niskiej orbicie okołoziemskiej? Jednym z naprawdę fajnych sposobów, aby to osiągnąć na Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej, jest organizowanie Prywatnych Misji Astronautów, czyli PAM-ów.

W tym tygodniu pożegnaliśmy załogę AX-4 po ich dwutygodniowym pobycie i pracy u boku załogi Ekspedycji 73. Każdy członek załogi reprezentował inny kraj (USA, Węgry, Indie i Polskę) oraz inną agencję kosmiczną lub misję (Axiom Space, ESA – Europejska Agencja Kosmiczna, ISRO – Indyjska Organizacja Badań Kosmicznych, HUNOR – Węgierski Program Badań Kosmicznych), dołączając do naszej międzynarodowej załogi (Japonia, USA, Rosja) i naszych agencji (NASA – Narodowa Agencja Aeronautyki i Przestrzeni Kosmicznej, JAXA (宇宙航空研究開発機構), Роскосмос). Misja była wielkim osiągnięciem dla każdego z nas i świadectwem profesjonalizmu i doskonałości agencji oraz osób na całym świecie.

Dla nas osobiście była to niesamowita frajda. To zdjęcie zawsze będzie mi przypominać jeden z moich ulubionych sezonów kosmicznych, z niesamowitą pracą i codziennymi salwami śmiechu. Mam nadzieję, że nasze przyjaźnie i współpraca utorują drogę do dalszej współpracy i eksploracji w przyszłości.

Jeśli chcesz iść szybko, rób to sam. Ale jeśli chcesz zajść daleko, rób to razem!

Did you know that one of NASA’s missions is to enable commercial spaceflight in low Earth orbit? One of the really cool ways we get to do that on @Space_Station is to host Private Astronaut Missions, or PAMs.

This week, we bid farewell to the Ax-4 crew after their two week stay living and working alongside the Expedition 73 crew. Each individual on their crew represented a different country (USA, Hungary, India, and Poland), and a different space agency or mission (@Axiom_Space, @esa, @isro, HUNOR Program), joining our international crew (Japan, USA, Russia) and our agencies (@NASA, @JAXA_en, @roscosmos). The mission was a great accomplishment for each and a testament to the professionalism and excellence of agencies and individuals around the world.

For us personally, it was a total blast. This picture will always remind me of one of my favorite space seasons, with great work done and big belly laughs on a daily basis. I hope our friendships and cooperation will pave the way for more future collaboration and exploration.

If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together!

Russian space agency chief expects ISS to remain relevant until 2030

MOSCOW, July 28. /TASS/. The Russian and US space agencies, Roscosmos and NASA, agree on the need to continue using the International Space Station (ISS) at least until 2028, but the orbital outpost is likely to remain relevant until 2030, Roscosmos chief Dmitry Bakanov said.

In an interview with RBC TV, he pointed out that the decision to terminate the ISS could only be made together by Russia and the United States. "The current consolidated decision by Roscosmos and NASA is that the need for the station will remain at least until 2028, and perhaps even until 2030," Bakanov noted.

In April, the Roscosmos chief said that the two countries’ space agencies had decided to agree on the duration of the ISS mission.

The ISS has been in orbit since November 20, 1998. The station has a mass of roughly 435 tons. With docked spacecraft, the mass can reach 470 tons. Keeping the project going are Russia, Canada, the United States, Japan and ten member states of the European Space Agency (Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).

Roskosmos nie podał szczegółów, ale Δv miało wynosić około 1,1 m/s.

Hard to believe we are a week from our scheduled return, but we are! Crew-10 is scheduled to undock NET 1800 GMT on 6 August, splashing down 6.5 hours later off the coast of California. We are busy in preparations for Crew-11 arrival and our departure. Yesterday we checked out our suits and comm systems to make sure we do not have any surprises next week. Good checks all around, and it was fun to be back with the crew in Dragon.
