Skoro więc zostało napisane, że Sojuz MS-28 oddokował od Stacji, to mam jeszcze potrzebę aktualizacji, że zanim oddokował, to wcześniej – 14 lipca 2026 o 17:52 (czasu uniwersalnego) Sojuz MS-29 zadokował do Stacji i jego załoga weszła na jej pokład.

Expedition 75 is beginning , and I’m excited to get started. It's bittersweet to see Chris Williams leave, however, I'm glad he will rejoin his family, friends, and planet earth. Every expedition brings a new mix of astronauts, flight controllers, managers, leads, and teams behind the mission. For a lot of us, this is where years of work start to feel real.

On this episode we give you farm to table, simple, and delicious. This Kale and Wasabi Mustard was grown on ISS over one month. We harvested several leaves and put them to the test. It might be the best meal we have cooked so far. 

Thanks to the @NASA veggie team for guiding us through the growth process and providing simple skills that could help provide food for future space travel. Mark Watney would be proud.

Menon i Adenot dołączyli do inżyniera lotu NASA Jacka Hathawaya i przeanalizowali kroki niezbędne do demontażu uszkodzonej anteny łączącej stację z Ziemią, umieszczenia jej na platformie zewnętrznej, a następnie zainstalowania anteny zapasowej na segmencie kratownicy Z1 stacji kosmicznej.
Hathaway, wraz z dowódcą misji NASA Jessicą Meir, będzie następnie pomagał astronautom w zakładaniu i zdejmowaniu kombinezonów kosmicznych oraz obsługiwał ramię robotyczne Canadarm2 podczas wyjścia w przestrzeń kosmiczną.

Meir przez cały dzień zajmowała się kombinezonami kosmicznymi, najpierw wymieniając filtr bezpieczeństwa, który zapobiega przedostawaniu się niepożądanych gazów i wilgoci do systemów oddechowych i chłodzących kombinezonu. Duet opuści śluzę Quest, przemieści się do segmentu kratownicy Z1 znajdującego się na szczycie modułu Unity i wymieni antenę łączącą stację z Ziemią.

Inżynier lotu Jack Hathaway i dowódca stacji Jessica Meir  będą pomagać astronautom w zakładaniu i zdejmowaniu kombinezonów kosmicznych oraz obsługiwać ramię robotyczne Canadarm2 podczas EVA.

Menon będzie przemieszczał się na chwytaku ramienia Canadarm2, podczas gdy Adenot, przymocowana liną do konstrukcji kratownicowej stacji, pomoże mu zdemontować starą antenę z segmentu Z1.
Następnie duet pobierze zapasową antenę z zewnętrznej platformy magazynowej, a potem zainstaluje ją na segmencie Z1.
Na koniec astronauci umieszczą starą antenę na tej samej platformie zewnętrznej.

Menon i Hathaway przeprowadzili wspólne ćwiczenia, sprawdzając działanie kombinezonu kosmicznego Menona oraz uzupełniając wodą zbiorniki kombinezonu i ubrania z systemem chłodzenia cieczą.

Pod koniec swojej zmiany, czwórka astronautów skontaktowała się również z kontrolerami misji, aby omówić przygotowania do EVA-97, w tym przypomnienia dotyczące bezpieczeństwa, wskazówki techniczne oraz sesję pytań i odpowiedzi.

Oczekuje się, że prace instalacyjne zostaną zakończone podczas przyszłego spaceru kosmicznego.

Pod koniec spaceru kosmicznego załoga wykonała również prace porządkowe oraz przeprowadziła kontrolę i wymianę przenośnego uchwytu na stopy w pobliżu śluzy Quest.

Stacja kosmiczna nadal działa z w pełni sprawną anteną Space-to-Ground, która zapewnia komunikację o dużej przepustowości z satelitami śledzącymi i przekaźnikowymi NASA oraz centrami kontroli na całym świecie, w tym z Mission Control w Houston.

Na Ziemi planiści misji omówią dalszy plan prac, które mają zostać wykonane podczas następnego spaceru kosmicznego, zaplanowanego obecnie na  25.08.2026.

Amerykański spacer kosmiczny nr 97 był drugim dla Menona i pierwszym dla Adenot.

Została ona przymocowana do ISS razem z konstrukcją ITS-Z1 14.10.2000, podczas misji STS-92 Discovery/F-28 ISS-3A.

Zapasowa antena paraboliczna SGANT znajduje się na zewnętrznej platformie magazynowej ESP-3, gdzie została umieszczona 20.07.2009 podczas misji STS-127 Endeavour/F-23 ISS-2J/A
Na ISS nie ma już żadnej innej zapasowej anteny SGANT.
Ciekawostką jest to, że konstrukcja ITS-Z1 nie stanowi części długiej belki kratowej ITS.
