Now the wait.
Watching for propellant loading to begin. Road closures are still in place, so that’s a good sign for tonight.
Winds are a bit up, but nothing too concerning at the moment.
Hoping we get a launch.

The turnout is amazing for the HASTE launch. So glad to see the people we know and meet all the new ones. Let’s go, Bubbles.

Rocket Lab’s Haste “bubbles” is poised to launch from the pad, but we’re hearing a delay until 9:15 p.m. The reason behind this delay appears to be the winds. Although the winds are currently stronger than earlier, we remain hopeful that we’ll witness the launch around 9:15 p.m.

3) Dalsze opóźnienie do 01:35.-01:36 UTC
Powodem są wiejące wiatry.

What a launch.
Rocket Lab’s HASTE mission “Bubbles” lifted off successfully at 9:36 PM ET after several holds.
Absolutely incredible to watch.
Just got home and will be going through all the footage, but for now here’s a quick raw iPhone clip mounted on top of my camera. Windy conditions and you’ll hear “some” camera clicks in the audio — but still worth it.

Mission Name HASTE
Vehicle HASTE
Launch Date Undisclosed
Launch Time Undisclosed
Launch Site Launch Complex 2

Rocket Lab successfully launched its HASTE launch vehicle from Launch Complex 2 on Wallops Island, Virginia for an undisclosed customer. The mission was Rocket Lab's 8th HASTE launch overall.

A suborbital variant of Electron - the world’s most frequently launched small orbital rocket - HASTE includes much of the same innovative technology as Electron, including carbon fiber composite structures and 3D printed rocket engines, but has a modified upper Kick Stage tailored for hypersonic technology tests and a larger payload capacity of up to 700 kg / 1,540 lbs. HASTE can deploy technologies at speeds of more than 7.5km per second to test air-breathing, glide, and ballistic payloads, as well as technologies to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere from space. Combined, the HASTE and Electron launch vehicles have deployed 200+ payloads for government and commercial customers to date.
