Najbliższy spacer w amerykańskich skafandrach zaplanowany jest na 28.08., w czasie którego ma być zamontowany węzeł cumowniczy IDA-3, który ma być dostarczony na pokładzie statku transportowego
Dragon CRS-18. Mają w nim wziąć udział astronauci Hague i Morgan.

Do końca roku jest zaplanowane jeszcze przynajmniej 9 amerykańskich spacerów kosmicznych.

.. there are currently 4 EMUs on-orbit. One EMU (#3003) did have a minor issue with a suit pressure sensor during EVA #52 and is being
held in “ready spare” status until it is replaced by #3009 which is manifested on the Space-X 18 cargo flight

Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) Short Extravehicular Mobility Unit (SEMU) Launch Enclosure (SLE) Rotation – The crew unpacked EMU 3009 from the Launch Enclosure and then packed EMU 3003 for return on SpaceX-18.

Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) Swap: The crew unpacked EMU 3009 which is a new unit that arrived on SpX-18. The crew then packed EMU 3003, which will be returned to ground on SpX-18 for refurbishment.

Astronauts Nick Hague and Andrew Morgan on the space station will conduct at least two spacewalks — the first is set for later this month — to begin installing the fresh batteries, which will replace aging and less-capable nickel-hydrogen batteries on the P6 solar array module on the far port side of the station’s truss backbone.

Американский астронавт Джессика Меир, отправляющаяся на МКС в конце сентября, не исключила, что совершит вместе с Кристиной Кук первый в истории выход в открытый космос двух женщин.

"Мы все готовы к ВКД [внекорабельная деятельность]. Сейчас планируется расписание [выходов]. Поэтому еще не знаю, кто будет выходить", - сказала Меир на пресс-конференции в Центре подготовки космонавтов, отвечая на вопрос РИА Новости.

"Я думаю, очень большой шанс, что буду делать один-два, может быть, три ВКД, и мы посмотрим, может быть, с Кристиной, может быть, с другим членом экипажа", - добавила она.
