Wydawało mi się, że 4. pojazdy Crew Dragon to liczba wystarczająca (Endeavour, Resilience, Endurance, Freedom).

Russia’s Alexander Grebenkin to fly to ISS on Crew Dragon Feb 2024

KEMEROVO, April 15. /TASS/. Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin will take a seat in the US spacecraft Crew Dragon to fly to the ISS in February 2024, as follows from what Grebenkin himself told the media at a gala concert of the festival Yury Gagarin Night in Kemerovo on Saturday.

"At the moment I am in training for the main Crew-8 team that will fly the US spacecraft Crew Dragon. The eighth mission is due in February 2024. The training schedule is very tight and intensive," Grebenkin said.

According to earlier reports, cosmonauts Konstantin Borisov and Alexander Grebenkin will go to the ISS on Crew Dragon spacecraft. The number of cross-flight missions to the ISS has been increased. Roscosmos announced the signing of an agreement on joint cross-flight missions by Russian cosmonauts and US astronauts to the ISS on July 15, 2022. Oleg Kononenko, the commander of the Roscosmos cosmonaut team, said that the previously signed agreement on cross-flights envisaged three flights by Russian cosmonauts on the US spacecraft Crew Dragon.

c'est officiel depuis ce 4 août 2023 (mais ça murmurait depuis un some temps 😉), la NASA annoncé l'équipage de Crew-8 avec :
- Matthew Dominick, Commandant, 1er vol
- Michael Barratt, pilote, 3ème vol
- Jeannette Epps, 1er vol
- Alexander Grebenkin, Russie, 1er vol

Ils complèteront Expedition 70 et 71. Et devraient décoller début 2024. Ils ont l'air heureux 😉surtout Barratt, 64 ans (un ''revenant) qui aura Attendu 13 ans son 3ème vol, et Epps qui aura Attendu presque 15 ans pour son 1er vol après ses déboires sur Soyouz MS-09

Pora na trochę aktualizacji, bo start za trzy tygodnie.

Start obecnie jest planowany jest 22 lutego o godzinie 9:00 CET, ale może to się jeszcze zmienić, bo najpierw z 39A ma wystartować lądownik Nova-C. Crew-8 wystartuje z nowym pierwszym stopniem B1083.1, więc będzie to czwarta pod rząd załogowa misja NASA, która wystartuje na nowym Boosterze. Crew Dragon Endeavour będzie pierwszym pojazdem, który osiągnął pięć lotów. NASA certyfikowała Crew Dragon na pięć lotów, ale SpaceX spodziewa się, że Dragona będzie można ponownie wykorzystać nawet 15 razy.
