NASA poszukuje propozycji dwóch nowych prywatnych misji załogowych na ISS zaplanowanych na 2026 i 2027.
Propozycje są przyjmowane do 30.05.2025
Sądząc po ogólnych wytycznych NASA należy się spodziewać odpowiedzi AxiomSpace w kwestii brytyjskiej misji.
Zainteresowanie takimi misjami wyraża również Vast.
Tim Peake nawiązał już formalną współpracę z AxiomSpace.
Trudno sobie wyobrazić na obecnym etapie innego komercyjnego operatora załogowego statku kosmicznego niż SpaceX.
Konkretnych rozstrzygnięć na te loty należy się spodziewać w 2025.

NASA Selects Vast for Sixth Private Mission to Space Station

(...) The mission is expected to spend up to 14 days aboard the space station. A specific launch date will depend on overall spacecraft traffic at the orbital outpost and other planning considerations. (...)

Vast will submit four proposed crew members to NASA and its international partners for review. Once approved and confirmed, they will train with NASA, international partners, and SpaceX for their flight. The company has contracted with SpaceX as launch provider for transportation to and from the space station. (...)

Vast is planning a robust science and research portfolio with a focus on biology and biotechnology, physical sciences, human research, and technology demonstrations for the mission. Last year, Vast announced a call for research proposals for a potential PAM mission. In addition, Vast’s current agreement with CASIS will enable increased throughput of high-quality science that aligns with its science strategy.

At the International Space Summit in Paris, France, the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, joined the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on stage to announce that the European Space Agency (ESA), on behalf of Greece, has signed an agreement with Vast for the Vast-PAM-1 mission to the International Space Station in partnership with NASA. French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday, September 10, called on Europe to develop its own crewed spaceflight capability within a decade as part of a broader push to strengthen the continent's space sector. Macron made the call during an international space summit in Paris this week, which several US companies, including SpaceX and Blue Origin, gave the cold shoulder to. (...)

Remaining reliant on other partners is also costly, however, he added. "Buying flights for European astronauts from foreign providers would cost €5 billion over 10 years," he had said, pointing out that those funds would support foreign sectors rather than Europe's, losing out on the opportunity to create local jobs and build technological capacities and autonomy.

ESA member states are expected to meet for a ministerial meeting in December to decide how to move forward. Last year, the ESA secured a record budget of €22.1 billion to fund its programs for the next three years.

Prezydent Francji Emmanuel Macron złoży 29–30 września dwudniową wizytę państwową w Hiszpanii. Poinformował o tym Asharq Al-Awsat, powołując się na hiszpański rząd.

Spotkanie z Sánchezem

30 września Macrona przyjmie premier Hiszpanii Pedro Sánchez. Na cześć francuskiego prezydenta odbędzie się również bankiet z udziałem króla Filipa VI i królowej Letycji.

Według Pałacu Elizejskiego będzie to pierwsza oficjalna wizyta Macrona w Hiszpanii od stycznia 2023 roku. Strona francuska oświadczyła również, że będzie to pierwsza wizyta państwowa prezydenta Francji w Hiszpanii od 2009 roku. (...)

Wczoraj pojawiły się informacje o czwartym członku załogi - astronaucie z Francji - Arnaud Maurice Michel Prost.
33 lat, czyli będzie to pierwsza załoga bez kosmonautów z Rosji, astronautów z USA i tajkonautów z Chin!

Według wczorajszej informacji z X-a Vast space, Prost ma uczestniczyć w misji Haven-1 Crew-1, a nie Vast-PAM-1.

Pierwsza załoga ..., ale do stacji kosmicznej (międzynarodowej lub chińskiej).

Bo pierwszą załogą bez kosmonautów z Rosji, astronautów z USA i tajkonautów z Chin był lot Fram2.
Można co prawda dowodzić, że Chun Wang jest z urodzenia Chińczykiem, ale nie jest taikonautą, no i poleciał jako obywatel Malty oraz Saint Kitts i Nevis.
