On call with @BoeingSpace's John Mulholland. He says Starliner on track for late 2018/early 2019 uncrewed flight test. Crew flight test should come mid-2019.

More from Mulholland: Looking at other rockets that could launch Starliner, especially Vulcan. Launch tower designed to account for Vulcan's larger size.

One effect of the service module hot fire anomaly is that Boeing will now conduct the pad abort test after the first uncrewed test of Starliner. So:

(...) Ferguson, 56, will likely be joined by two NASA astronauts on the mission. Their identities will be announced Friday in a ceremony at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, headquarters for agency’s astronaut corps.

NASA is also expected to announce crews for the first flight of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft with astronauts on-board, plus which astronauts will fly on the first “post-certification” missions by both commercially-developed vehicles on operational crew rotation flights to the International Space Station. NASA opublikowała dziś nowy harmonogram lotów załogowych.

Czyli prawie "nic" się nie zmieniło - wciąż około roku do pierwszych lotów załogowych... Ale może teraz ten termin da się dotrzymać?

A lot testowy bezzałogowy  Starlinera planowany jest teraz  na wiosnę 2019.
SpaceX może okazać się szybszy.

Originally the pad abort test was scheduled for this summer, ahead of both the uncrewed and crewed test flights. Now, he said, that pad abort test will take place in the spring of 2019, between the uncrewed and crewed flight tests. (...)

The revised schedule comes ahead of a planned Aug. 3 announcement by NASA of the astronauts who will fly on the crewed test flights of both Starliner and SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, as well as on the first post-certification missions by both vehicles. SpaceX has not released its own updated schedule, but is also facing delays from that previously released NASA schedule that listed an uncrewed flight test in August and a crewed flight test in December.
