W ten sposób astronauci prowadzą badania naukowe w komorze Life Sciences Glovebox.

M+147: One of the science experiments that SpaceX CRS-33 brought aboard is the Microgravity Associated Bone Loss-B study, which studies bone-forming adult stem cells in microgravity, providing us a better understanding of the basic mechanisms of bone loss in space.
This research also contributes to our understanding of bone loss on Earth, potentially providing ways for us to prevent and treat bone degenerative diseases like osteoporosis. This is how we conduct science in the Life Sciences Glovebox.

Why mains connected vacuum and not a battery powered one? So you don't have to worry about that cable while you float around. Genuine question. I'm assuming there's a good reason. Is it something to do with lithium batteries being too dangerous up there?

We do have cordless vacuums but the rechargeable batteries don’t last long enough to clean the entire space station. Many of our electronics use lithium batteries.

Would a fire extinguisher with pressurised sand put out a fire in space... the only problem I see is if it worked you would need a nozzle that not only shoots it out but collects it in a quick cycle so like a circle with a peice missing out the cuircle you place it towards the fire put the fire out and its sucked back in the other hole almost immediately

We have two types of fire extinguishers on the USOS side of the ISS, water mist and CO2. I’m not sure how pressurized sand would work but I think the mess it would cause in microgravity could be problematic.
