Optymistycznie zakładając, kolejny start RN Ariane 6 jeszcze w 2024 powinien mieć miejsce.
Przyszłość pokaże jak starty będą umiędzynarodowione pozaeuropejsko.

The European Ariane 6 rocket was supposed to fly into space long ago. But the maiden flight was delayed. Now it could be ready. Europe has high hopes for the launch.

Credit: CNES/ESA/Arianespace-ArianeGroup/Optique Vidéo CSG/S.Martin-P.Piron(...) The APU is used to pressurize the rocket’s upper stage tanks to allow for in-orbit Vinci engine restarts, ensuring consistent fuel delivery. Additionally, the APU provides a small amount of thrust, contributing to the maneuverability and precision of the rocket during its mission. (...)
In a November 2021 post, ArianeGroup stated that an example of APU’s versatility was “its ability to de-orbit the stage at the end of a mission in accordance with European space law by powering it towards Earth, so that it burns up on atmospheric entry.” Despite this, Sion did not appear to think that the failure to deorbit the mission’s upper stage was all that significant. Europe’s new rocket Ariane 6 powered Europe into space taking with it a varied selection of experiments, satellites, payload deployers and reentry demonstrations that represent thousands across Europe, from students to industry and experienced space actors. Image: M. Pédoussaut/ESAUpdate 7:30 p.m. EDT: An anomaly with the Auxiliary Propulsion Unit on the rocket’s upper stage caused it to deviate from its nominal trajectory and miss both the deployment of two payloads and its deoribt burn. Added information from the Tuesday evening press conferenceThe inaugural launch of the Ariane 6 rocket, which was lauded from those from the President of France to the NASA Administrator, hit a notable snag in the third and final phase of the mission. Part of the rocket’s upper stage, called the Auxiliary Propulsion Unit (APU), was powered on for a third time as intended, but it quickly shut off after only seconds, causing the upper stage to deviate from its planned trajectory. PedoussautWASHINGTON — With the successful completion of a core stage hot-fire test, the European Space Agency says it now expects the first launch of the Ariane 6 to take place in the middle of 2024.
At a Nov. 30 briefing, ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher announced a launch period for the inaugural Ariane 6 flight of June 15 through July 31. A more precise launch date will be provided after qualification reviews in the spring of 2024

The first separation command, seeing the deployment of the OOV-Cube, Curium One and Robusta-3A, took place one hour five minutes into flight with the Ariane 6 upper stage in a circular, 577-kilometer-altitude orbit. Experiments YPSat and Peregrinus, attached to the upper stage, were also initiated.
Three further separations were due to follow at time of first reporting. The European Space Agency official stream later reported an issue with the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) which allows the upper stage Vinci engine to reignite*. (...)

A self-taught French artist from Vichy, Renaud Sauzedde began his professional career as a graphic artist in the skateboarding industry. He went on to create his own guitar brand called Wild Customs. He then delved into tattoo art and opened his own studio, VichyVenice, in 2018. More recently, this eminently versatile artist, an optimist and a compulsive worker, has produced his first pieces on canvas. This form of expression is a genuine renaissance: derived from SoZ’s love for street art and Art Nouveau. (...)

(...) Continuing to herald that Europe is back in space, Israël confidently asserted that the next Ariane 6 launch will be in December for France’s Ministry of Defense. Two launches of Europe’s smaller rockets, Vega and Vega-C, are planned before that. The final Vega launch is scheduled for September. Vega-C is Vega’s successor, but failed during on its second launch in December 2022 and suffered other problems thereater. Vega-C’s return to flight is expected in November.

Here's what the Ariane 6 rocket has to offer.(...) The Vinci upper stage engine is the Ariane 6 feature with the most allure. For one, it can be reignited, which allows a single Ariane 6 launch to deliver multiple missions on different orbits.
“Reigniting an engine in zero gravity may not sound so difficult, but as fuels float freely inside the tanks, it is not as simple as you might think. The Auxiliary Propulsion Unit (APU) helps here, providing a small but steady amount of thrust to cause fuel in the Vinci tanks to settle ensuring it can fire again,” ESA officials added. (...)
